Rich Harden Debuts, Finally posted on 03/11/2009
Good ol' Canadian James Richard Harden showed us why the Cubs got him when he pitched 2 innings in Tuesday's Cactus League game against Seattle.
The cubs have been all tip-toe with Rich, limiting his throws since he's been taking trips to the DL for the past 3 seasons, and was on the stint when he was traded.
Yeah, he would like for the talk to stop about his shoulder, that he is feeling better than before, yadda yadda.
The problem here Rich, is that you don't understand our fragile state of mind. When a pitcher is gone to the DL, especially one of your caliber, we are worried that we will not do good and it's the end for our season.
So, forgive us if we are a little bit concerned. We care. We care about our team and our players. We want our team to win so badly that we hate hearing any bad news.

Finally! A Chicago Cubs Game! posted on 03/04/2009
I am so excited to finally watch a Chicago Cubs game in Spring Training. So, I am gonna do my best to do up-to-the-minute highlgihts.
9:06 p.m.: Getting ready to start. White Sox John Danks is the starting pitcher. So Taguchi plaays right field for the Cubbies. Derrek Lee is off, Micah Houffpauir is at first. Seems sold out, which I think it is. Groovy.
9:08 p.m.: First Pitch!!
9:08 p.m.: And just like that, Soriano hit it high but straight to Jermaine Dye. But good swing, could have been a homer.
9:15 p.m.: End of the top 1st. Two on and we can't do anything. Jeff Samardzija is gonna face the Sox in the bottom.
9:18 p.m.: So good to hear Len Kasper and Bob Brenly voices again!

It's Already Started With Milton Bradley posted on 02/27/2009
Milton Bradley has now made my Can't Stand to Watch cause He'll be on the IR List.
Mild tightness in his right quad forced him out of Thursday's game. And while he's taking it easy, i cannot help but think about other crazy injuries that have happened to the Cubs.
Kerry Wood's bathtub slip. Felix Pie's problem with his balls. Is it so hard to be healthy during Spring Training?
I know that the injuries will come during the season, but it seems like every time someone in Spring training is hurt, then it will trickle down to the regular season and it will be a significant injury, like Soriano last year with his quad or D-Lee with his hand.
You might think I am saying this out of fear, and I am. I am concerned about the Cubs being healthy because when someone goes down with an injury, the Cubs don't perform as well.

A little about myself, What the Chicago Cubs need to do to win a World Series. posted on 02/25/2009
Hi there. i'm gonna make this pretty short about myself, since this is my first blogpost and I would hate to bore you on the first time.
I have been dedicated to the Chicago Cubs since 1984 as a little 3-year-old gal. Since then, the friends I have made are either dedicated White Sox fans or former-Cubs-fans-turned-Sox-fans-cause-they-couldn't-take-losing.
So, while they have decided to keep me as a friend (and vice versa), I will continue to hope for the miracle that is a World Series championship.
Now, on to the subject.
Like last year, the prognosticators are once again predicting the Cubs to be on top and winning it all. Like this bold prediction from Sports Illistrated saying the Cubs will win the pennant. Or like the many betting and fan sites who loudly proclaim "This is the Year."
